According to a new study by McMaster University, whey protein and other protein powders can greatly improve the physical strength of older people.
In this study, two groups of men aged 70 and older participated. One group took a protein supplement and several nutrients for six weeks without following any exercise program. While the second group of men ate placebo for six weeks.
