Celery properties for the digestive system
Celery should be considered as a gastrointestinal tract protector; because of its high fiber content it prevents the constipation and helps to improve the digestive process by stimulating the release of saliva and gastric juice; this has led to those who have a slow or poor digestion. Celery is a wonderful plant; it also strengthens the stomach and prevents the formation of gastric ulcers.
Research results from 2014 showed that foods containing fiber such as celery contribute to digestive fat digestion.
It's best to keep in mind that excessive consumption of celery causes diarrhea and people with digestive problems should not use raw celery.
