Who are facing vitamin D absorption decrease?

Who are facing vitamin D absorption decrease?

Exposure to sunlight is the easiest way to make vitamin D in the body, but deficiency of this vitamin is one of the most common problems in individuals.

The position of a geographic region, with respect to the angle of sunshine, affects the amount of vitamin D intake among residents of that area, so that people in the northern cities of the country are more likely to be exposed to vitamin D deficiency; and obese people are also more likely to lack this Vitamin A, because their adipose tissue prevents full vitamin D absorption.

Women also absorb this vitamin less than men, the type of coating and the use of sunscreens and anti-wrinkles are among the factors that have led to a lower intake of vitamin D in women.
