The seventy-seventh Golden Globe Awards were held announcing winners in various film and television categories.
War drama directed by Sam Mendes won the Golden Globe 7 Best Film and Director Award, and Heritage and Fliegb won the best drama and comedy awards in television, respectively. Was dedicated to them.
This year's Irish Man film Martin Scorsese was nominated in five categories for a Golden Globe nomination, which did not win any awards.
