Properties of olive oil
Olive oil contains monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) and antioxidants that can last a lifetime and reduce the diseases associated with the use of saturated oils.
The properties of olive oil for health:
• Olive oil provides health to the arteries.
• Olive oil prevents damage to free radicals from fats and oils to the cardiovascular system.
• Reduces blood cholesterol and especially its bad type, LDL, without reducing its good type of HDL.
• Olive oil prevents poisoning and oxidizes LDL cholesterol.
• Another characteristic of olive oil is that it prevents the placement of plaques in the arterial wall and thus prevents narrowing of the arteries.
• Olive oil causes dilatation of the arteries due to the presence of unsaturated fat MUFA, thereby reducing high blood pressure and heart disease.
• The regulation of blood glucose is the property of olive oil.
