Lens for controlling diabetes
South Korean researchers have developed lenses that can control blood glucose levels in people with diabetes.
This monitoring of blood glucose is done by controlling sugar in eye tears; it measures the level of glucose in tears and displays results in a pixel display; in addition, if the level of a person's high blood sugar level is high A small LED light on the lens turns on.
