Potato good Source of Vitamin A
A potato plant can provide about half the daily requirement of a child to vitamin A. Vitamin A is needed for immunity and growth of the body, improving vision and reproductive health.

Pregnant women with 150 grams of potatoes can provide 15 percent of their vitamin A requirements.

Yellow potatoes have more vitamin A than white potatoes.
